Job Description

Care Assistant | Halwill, Beaworthy | Various Hours Available |£9.70 - £10.20 per hourOur clients nursing home is looking for kind and compassionate carers to join their friendly team of support staff, experience is not necessary as excellent training will be provided.Our client has been providing high-quality care for many years, and they are looking for individuals that can help them continue doing a great job. Many of their service users may have dementia therefore they require a kind and empathetic approach when supportingthem.If you are keen to make a positive difference in the lives of the people they support, then you are perfect for our client!Are you the right person

What will your role as a Care Assistant look like
  • Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and eating
  • Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users
  • Accompany service users to medical appointments
  • Observe, monitor and record service users physical and emotional well-being and promptly report any changes to senior staff
  • Encourage service users to participate in social and recreational activities
