A commercial contactor in Clacton-On-Sea is looking for a Bookkeeper (Finance Manager) on a part-time basis (this could be school hours) to help the MD set up the Finance function and bring it all in-house. Paying a salary of £30,000 - £38,000 pro rata,dependent upon experience. This can be a hybrid or mostly remote role with some travel into the office.This business has grown organically has gone from strength to strength in the last 5 years, so they now wish to invest in its finance function so that the accounts can be used more strategically to understand and further grow the business.As the Bookkeeper you will be involved in:

• The implementation of a new finance system such as Sage
• VAT and corporation tax returns and payments
• Liaise with auditors
• Produce accurate invoices
• CIS payments
• Analysis of revenue by customer, product, individual or team
• Credit control and debt recovery processes
• Purchase order management
• Supplier management and analysis
• Payment allocation
• Bank reconciliation
• Cashflow forecasting
• Bank account management
• KPI reporting
• Production of P&L
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet maintenence
• Monthly board reports
