Job Description

This newly created Financial Planning and Analysis Assistant Manager will form a key part of the Finance team for a Asset Manager Firm Paying £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience and currently operating a 3 day a week in the office with a Discretionarybonus. Located right next to Westminster Tube Stop.RoleThis Financial Planning and Analysis Assistant Manager Role will help the Asset Manager Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. Key responsibilities included.

Update and regularly communicate with key stakeholders.
Drive and implement operational changes.
Analyse and interpret data to develop valuable insights to aid decision making and identify business risks.
Prepare, with the use of EPM tool, Vena, monthly and quarterly management operating reports including profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow in a timely manner to the appropriate quality.
Create and maintain existing core Microsoft PowerBI reports in conjunction with the IT & Controlling team to identify results, trends and financial forecasts and explain variances to budget/forecast.
Take full responsibility for proactively managing the entire financial budget & quarterly forecast cycle including but not limited to budget holder meetings, stakeholders management, and timely Vena input updates.
Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast board packs utilizing Vena and PowerPoint.

ProfileThe Financial Planning and Analysis Assistant Manager Role for this Asset Manager firm is ideally looking for.

Someone who is Qualified (ACCA, CIMA) with 1-2 years post qualification experience.
Someone whos had at least 3 years experience with ownership of internal and external reporting as well as full ownership of Budgeting and forecasting.
Experience with using Vena- however not essential.
