Job Description

Are you passionate about working with young children and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our excellent team.Our Nursery is purpose built with the sole focus to offer an expanded Education and freedom for staff to deliver the best education. We are committed to providing a safe, loving and inclusive space for children to learn and explore.A typical day could range from making music and dancing in the performing arts studio to sculpturing, weaving, painting, drawing in their visual arts studio to exploring the outside and going on a bear hunt! Or maybe youll take a trip into the Sensory Studio as you go to another world with projections on the walls, a gentle mirror ball and LED lighting to let your and their imaginations go wild.Responsibilities of a Nursery PractitionerAs a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to children.Your responsibilities include:

  • Child-Centered Care: Providing a nurturing and supportive environment, meeting the individual needs of each child and encouraging development across the key areas- social, emotional, cognitive and physical
  • Planning and Implementing Activities: Designing and leading engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity and learning.
  • Effective communication: Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, fostering open communication to update them on their child’s progress
Requirements of a Nursery PractitionerTo be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Good relevant Childcare experience and a Childcare level 2/3 qualification or above
  • An understanding of child development and child developmental needs
  • A good knowledge of early years educational practices
  • A passion for working with children
  • A desire to make a difference to children’s lives
  • A positive attitude and a dedication to working hard
  • Abundant energy
  • A desire to become part of a supportive, growing team that values its employees
