The Role: Technical Product Consultant Location: Bath As a Technical Product Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational and reporting compliance with current legislation for the Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), Individual Savings Account (ISA), and third-party products. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will provide guidance, support, and training to internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to applicable product technical rules, reporting accuratelyand timely , and facilitating efficient development of regulatory changes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Subject Matter Expert to make your mark within a team that works collaboratively across M&G. Key Responsibilities for this role:

• Have high level of regulatory knowledge to support internal and external queries for Pension / ISA and other products
• Engage with operational team managers to ensure compliance in product-driven processes and provide suggestions for procedural changes when gaps are identified
• Provide SME support into projects where there may be regulatory impacts
• Ability review and understand requirements for regulatory reporting
• Data Analysis to support regulatory reporting & Exception handling
• Recommend process improvements to complete assigned work within expected standards and deadlines
• Support payroll process and provide tax calculation guidance to internal and external parties
• Respond and resolve complex queries from both external stakeholders (advisers/customers) and internal stakeholders

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of SIPP and ISA products ideally with R004
• Strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach
• Demonstrated regulatory awareness and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent communication, planning, and analytical skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) to stay updated with industry knowledge.
• Willingness to challenge senior members of the business when necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel knowledge
• Understanding mechanics and workings of Self Invested Personal Pension and Individual Savings Account
