Location – Bath (2-3 days in a month after COVID)Role – Technical LeadTech – PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Postman, DockerSalary - £60,000 to £80,000 + 25 days holiday + sharesAs the digital economy expands, more and more security challenges are presented to small-to-midsize businesses - customer validation brings a huge scale of risk, which is a problem this startup in Bath are going to solve via a unique API platform – and they need a Technical Lead.Currently at 5 people but with plans to triple that over the coming 12-18 months with a number of private and public contracts on the horizon, this is a great time to join the business as a Technical Lead. With a leadership team who’ve previously scaled and led very successful companies, this venture has a great chance of taking off.This Technical Lead role will be very much hands on, but they have earmarked the position to grow into a CTO position in time, so there’s excellent career prospects here.You’ll be driving the technology they deliver and their strategic roadmap, managing and growing a small team, creating new applications and products.They are using PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Postman and Docker – however you’ll also be overseeing a major backend upgrade likely to Golang in the future.
