Job Description

Site SupervisorTransport Site Service SupervisorWe are recruiting for a working Supervisor for our transport related services at Bath Bus Depot. The correct candidate will be flexible, reliable and honest with good communication skills. The correct candidate will have experience in cleaning and in managing/supervising large teams. We believe in leading from the front and the supervisor would be expected to engage in the same tasks, leading by example, as the operational staff, such as banksman duties, shunting and cleaning if needed. The ideal candidate willbe expected to work mainly evenings and nights; main hours are 1700-0130 (flexibility is needed) 5 out of 7 days.Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the movement of buses within the depot environment, including parking and reversing manoeuvres in the evenings
  • Ensuring quality services delivered in a timely manner including the cleaning (daily & deep), shunting and parking of buses and premises cleaning (including workshop)
  • Engage in our quality auditing system when requested
  • Ensuring they and the team are working in a healthy and safe way in compliance with both our client and internal Health and Safety
  • Act responsibility and professionally at all times ensuring that you represent the Sasse Group in a respectful, courteous and professional manner
  • Assist with weekly rotas
  • Assist with scheduling and holiday management when requested
  • Assist with basic staff management issues
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication, reliability and a positive can-do attitude
  • Manual dexterity
  • Must be computer literate
  • Ability to work to strict timelines and well under pressure
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and instructions
  • Valid drivers license for at least 2 years is desirable, but not essential
  • Ideal candidate will have Supervisory experience
