Job Description

Our client is a start-up medical technology company at the forefront of additive manufacturing for medical applications, whilst offering surgical treatments. The company offer custom-made treatments with an innovative range of medical devices and digitalsolutions via a mix of CE marked and custom-made surgical instrumentation.They are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to handle medical device quality and regulatory affairs from product design to market and beyond.The Quality Assurance Specialist will contribute to the development of new products, drive improvements in the companys standards and maintain regulatory accreditations and have a track record in improving QMS culture in the industry. The role will alsoassist the business to enter new markets e.g. US and Canada etc.Qualifications

  • Either scientific, engineering, regulatory, quality or legal/compliance track record
  • ISO:13485, ISO:14971, CE marking, MDR, FDA 510(k) etc.
  • Internal/External audits, CAPA process
  • PC skills, including QMS software
Desirable:
  • Software validation IEC:62304 and SaMD process certification
  • Understanding of manufacturing process control
  • Knowledge in SaMD validation and familiarity with software regulations in line with new MDR and relevant standards
