Are you looking for a new challenge to kick of 2024!Are Client is seeking an Electrician to join our friendly and supportive Workshop team in the beautiful surroundings of the University of Bath, the Times, and Sunday Times university of the year 2023.The working hours are 08.15-4.45 Monday to Thursday and 08.15-3.45 Friday so you can be home every evening.Vast majority of the work is on campus – so only occasional travel into town.Your new job1. Undertake small to medium size installations/alterations works as part of building refurbishment or change of use projects.2. Planned and reactive maintenance activities in the Universitys academic buildings, residences, and sports facilities.3. Repair tasks across the range of electrical building services, plant, and equipment4. Some simple mechanical work5. Taking part in an on-call rota that attracts an additional allowance.6. Overtime opportunitiesCandidates must have1. Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship, be qualified to minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.2. BS 7671 18th edition certificate3. Relevant technical experience in larger buildings or commercial facilities4.
