Geotechnical Consultant (Bath)Reference: BY1105Salary: £26,000 - £29,000Are you a geotechnical engineer or consultant looking for the next step in your career Perhaps youre currently in a graduate position looking for some more responsibility in a main-grade position, or simply looking for a change and some fresh and excitingprojects for you to work on This could be the position for you! An established geotechnical consultancy with 10 years in the industry are looking to expand their team in Bath with an experienced and eager Geotechnical Consultant.The Geotechnical Consultant role offers:

  • A competitive salary (£26,000 - £29,000)
  • Training provided where required or desired.
  • Range of exciting and varied projects to work on,
  • Increased responsibility, working with a niche team size allowing for varied workload and focusses support where required.
  • Outdoor and active work, as well as focused time in office.

The successful Geotechnical Consultant will be working on site and in office, supervising drilling rigs, carrying out ground investigations, soil logging, writing interpretive reports and assisting junior members of the team, among other daily responsibilities.To be considered for the Geotechnical role you should:
  • Have existing experience and detailed knowledge of the geotechnical and ground investigation industry.
  • Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a relevant subject.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • A full right to work in the UK.
  • Be commutable to Bath.
