Job Description

£28,000 - £32,000 + BenefitsThis is an exciting new role for a marketing executive wishing to join a growing company and take their career to the next level working on the GCN+ OTT cycling subscription app. In order to drive increased customer acquisition and brand awareness, a naturally analytical, ideas-driven Digital Marketing Executive with strong CRM or subscription marketing experience is required to join a renowned digital sports media company that owns and operates a highly successful eCommerce cycling brand and a chain of sports-based Youtube channels. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful Digital Marketing Executive will use their digital campaign management, Google Analytics and AdWords experience to support the development and growth of a new multi-platform video subscription service. This fast moving, team-based role will provide the opportunity to play a vital support role in the planning, management and execution of campaigns using multiple owned, earned and paid marketing channels, with the key objective being to drive acquisition of new customers.   • Planning & Delivery - Work with stakeholders to plan and execute multiple marketing campaigns
  • Campaign Management - Support the ongoing management and optimisation of campaigns from concept to completion
  • Performance Analysis - Measure, evaluate and report on campaign performance
  • Support the development of annual and seasonal communications and marketing laydown to drive subscriber performance, across all owned, earned and paid marketing channels
  • Support the delivery of campaigns from execution through to post-campaign reporting and performance analysis
  • Help develop social media campaigns working closely with Audience Development and Creative teams
  • Utilise our CRM tools to segment customers and support the deployment of marketing campaigns including engagement, retention and win-back
  • Support and ultimately be responsible for the design, creation and ongoing optimisation of campaign landing pages
  • Support the roll-out of marketing partnerships, subscription offers, gifting, member-get-member etc
  • Work with our media planning and buying team on managing paid media campaigns
  • Perform analysis of live or historical campaigns using multiple data sources to detect trends in the data with a view to ongoing optimisation
  • Support the ad-operations by coordinating creative assets, tracking URLs and ad-trafficking
  • Skills & Experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience within marketing working in media/direct-to-consumer digital/retail in B2C sectors.
  • Experience in planning, managing, executing multi-channel campaigns for consumer brands
  • Experience of working with paid media channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads and other paid channels e.g. search, programmatic display and emerging channels.
  • Ability to gather insights from multiple data reporting tools and help recommend steps for campaign optimisation e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook, Google, Tableau, Data Studio
  • Customer focussed, analytically driven and creatively strong.
  • Interpersonal skills to build rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Some experience with the operational use of the major marketing platforms such as Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads - Desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of working with MailChimp and Instapage an advantage - Desirable
  • A marketing degree (or equivalent) or other related marketing qualifications - Desirable
  • Knowledge / passion for sport or cycling an advantage - Desirable
