This one would be suit someone who is flexible to cover a three-shift pattern with the company offering generousshift allowance and benefits.The company design and manufacture parts for the defence industry and so it gives you an opportunity to work with some interesting and exciting technology and good long-term stability.If you are interested, please apply online and one of the team at Reed will call you back with all the details.Key responsibilities:• Setting and running of CNC machines• Working with Manufacturing Engineers to program-prove, prove tooling packages and new processes.• Basic editing of CNC programs.• Working with the quality team to identify any quality issues.• Carry out any data capture required to improve process capability and control.Skills and Experience• Demonstrated experience in CNC machining (Milling and / or turning and / or Mill-Turn) of high precision products from a variety of materials and forms.• Demonstrated experience in a high value, low volume mechanical manufacturing environment.• In-depth knowledge of Fanuc controls• The shifts rotate between days, evenings and night shifts so it would be ideal for someone who is comfortable working at night.What is in it for you• Pension – 5% matched contribution (up to 8% matched)• Life Cover of 4 x salary• 25 days holiday, plus 1 day at 5 years and another day at 10 years• Simply Health cover (Cash Plan) for self and any children Level 3• Company bonus scheme – non-contractual and dependent on company performance• Retail discounts
