Job Description

We are looking for full time and part time Care Assistant, Companion & Home Helpers in the Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Corsham, Chippenham, Calne, Melksham and surrounding areas of Somerset and Wiltshire area. Guaranteed Hours are available. No experience is needed as full training will be provided. A full Driving licence & your own car is essential.

  • £10.00 per hour plus, Pension, Paid DBS + Paid Training.
  • Paid travel, waiting time and fuel payments
  • Full or Part-Time Guaranteed Hours available
  • Mornings, lunchtimes, evenings & Weekends

They do this by ensuring that every visit is no less than an hour, meaning they can really tailor the support received. The whole team carry the same passion as the owners and that is to really make a difference. Your Role The key part of a Care Assistant, Companion & Home Helper is helping older adults stay safe and carry on living independently in their own home. We need you to make a difference in their lives. The role is flexible, and you will be carefully matched to people based on interests and hobbies. The role can involve:
  • Helping them with their morning and evening routines.
  • Assisting with personal care which could be helping them get dressed or putting the toothpaste on a toothbrush.
  • Helping to prepare a meal.
  • Getting them some shopping or picking up a prescription.
  • Being a good companion and be someone they can talk to and rely on.
    • Making a difference to someone’s everyday life is so rewarding, along with creating lots of memories and knowing you have contributed to making someone’s day that bit happy and easier.
