Job Description

Camera Perception Engineer Contract| £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35) | 3 months | Bath (Hybrid) | Automotive TechnologyWe are working with our client in automotive technology who’re seeking a Contract Perception Engineer to assist their autonomous vehicle perception team. The ideal candidate for this role will be an embedded C++ software contractor with a wealth of knowledgein camera systems and vision processing.Your Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and identification of camera failures for GMSL2 and Ethernet cameras.
  • Choosing, putting into practice, and evaluating algorithms for camera obscuration.
  • Enhancing WebRTC camera streaming functionality and identifying errors.
  • Addition of a visible timestamp to the camera image.
Experience Requirements:
  • Proficient understanding of embedded C++.
  • In-depth familiarity with NVIDIA embedded platforms, including AGX Xavier, Jetson Nano, Orin Nano, and AGX Orin.
  • Thorough familiarity with NVIDIA hardware pipelines.
  • Practical familiarity with CUDA.
  • Functional familiarity with RTSP, WebRTC, OpenGL, EGL, and related buffers and protocols.
  • Proficiency with IP (Internet Protocol) cameras.
  • Practical familiarity with GMSL2 cameras.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Practical experience with Blazor and C#.
Rate:
  • £400 - £500 per day outside IR35.
  • Hybrid role from Bath. Some weeks will require more onsite requirements due to testing and verification.
  • 3 month contract with potential to be extended.
