Job Description

In this strategic role you will impact our drive towards achieving a carbon neutral building portfolio by 2030. We have a diverse range of buildings on our purpose-built campus, from our original 1960s plan through to our £72million School of Management building opening in January 2022. We are an equal opportunities employer and have an excellent international reputation with staff from over 60 different nations.About the role:Taking ownership of our building and energy management control systems throughout our estate, you will ensure they work to their optimum capabilities. Ensuring environmental and comfort conditions are maintained, you will minimise their environmental impact and energy consumption while improving the systems reliability and functionality.Supporting the BMS Supervisor to create an effective operating Building Management System. You will provide vital advice and guidance to the workshop supervisors, engineers and managers to minimum down time, increase efficiency and end user satisfaction.About you:With experienced of ideally Schneider BMS or other complex building control system, youll have provided strategic advice with the goal of being carbon neutral. Alongside this you will have:

  • HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or an ONC with extensive and broad experience
  • Understanding of the application and maintenance of building management systems
  • A relevant qualification in BMS/ automated controls related subject for Schneider Sigma , Eco Struxture and Tridium Niagara
  • Relevant technical experience in larger buildings or commercial facilities
  • Good problem solving, customer service and communication skills are a prerequisite of the post
