Job Description

Gradwell Communications is looking for an ambitious and driven individual who is keen to continue a career in finance, at an exciting, fast paced technology/communications provider. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for accruals & prepayments, quarterly VAT and EC Sales list returns, cost reporting to our Senior Management Team and dealing with certain aspects of debtors and creditors. As the candidate in this role develops, we will be expecting them to undertake more of the month end management accounts responsibilities.Salary range is £20,000-£22,000 p/a depending on experience and study support is available.Based in central Bath, the office is close to transport links. Hours are 7.5 hrs p/d Monday - Friday.Essential Job Functions

  • Calculating and posting accruals and prepayments for the management accounts
  • Credit note entry to ensure customer accounts are up to date
  • Reporting monthly on credit notes (reasons/quantity/value) to the management teams
  • Monthly cost reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Calculating and payment of Partner Commissions each month
  • Quarterly VAT and EC Sales List returns
  • Monitoring the Receivables@ inbox
  • Assisting with Debtor chasing
  • Dealing with Finance-related queries from our Customer Support team
  • Other duties from time to time as directed by finance management
