Job Description

AccountantBath, SomersetSalary up to 50k + Excellent BenefitsCV Screen is recruiting for a qualified Practice Accountant to join a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Bath. You will be joining a talented team who are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.The organisation has been in business for over 100 years and excellent career prospects exist for the successful candidate. The work is varied and interesting and you will provide a proactive all year-round service to small businesses and individuals in thearea.WHO WOULD THIS ROLE SUIT:As a Senior Accountant, you should be an enthusiastic individual, looking for an exciting challenge in a fast-paced accountancy practice, dealing with a variety of clients across different sectors.The role will be fully office based.DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Production of Sole Trader, Partnership and Limited Company Accounts
  • Completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns and Corporation Tax Returns
  • Completion and submission of payrolls to HMRC
  • Completion and submission of Quarterly VAT Returns / Bookkeeping using online software (including QuickBooks, Sage and Xero)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • You should be ACA, ACCA or AAT Qualified
  • Previous experience of working within an Accountancy Practice.
  • You should be confident in all areas of Accounting and Taxation
  • Knowledge of XERO, Sage and QuickBooks
