The goal is to ensure we have the right material at the right time, which entails working closely with theProcurement and Manufacturing teams. As the Stock Controller, you will effectively manage the Warehouse and Packing team, continually striving to achieve better than set KPIs and objectives, achieving excellence through best practice by:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Stock Controller, Inventory Manager, Materials Manager - Machinery, Engineering, ManufacturerAs our Stock Controller, you responsibilities will include:· Supervising and evaluating your team through one to one meetings, appraisals and competency assessments · Owning the process and procedure for inventory · Ensuring parts are available for production and are picked and packed to schedule · Managing the preliminary incubation count on a weekly basis · Controlling inventory levels using FIFO/LIFO methodologies · Owning and creating relevant KPIs for your area of responsibilityPERSON SPECIFICATION: Stock Controller, Inventory Manager, Materials Manager - Machinery, Engineering, ManufacturerIt goes without saying that you will be highly organised, have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to communicate exceptionally with multiple departments of the company, particularly the Procurement Team.You will also have: · Experience in stock control and inventory management · A qualification in Supply Chain or a similar and relevant field (Degree, CIPS, IoSCM etc.) · Strong initiative and capable of working independently · An analytical mind with excellent problem solving skills · Due to location, you will need access to a vehicle in order to get to workTHE COMPANY:For 40 years, we have been designing computer controlled systems to evaluate the properties of soil and rock and have built a fantastic reputation within the geotechnical and earthquake testing sector.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Stock Control Manager, Inventory Manager, Stock Controller, Materials Manager, Parts Manager, Warehouse Controller,Parts EngineerINTERESTED Please click apply.
