Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Basingstoke based client on a 12 month FTC for 3 days a week. This is a busy all round role with a strong bias towards Purchase Ledger and reports to the Head of Finance.If you would like to work in a well regarded and friendly team then read on!What will the Assistant Accountant role involve

Ensuring the purchase ledgers of the business are effectively maintained.
You will ensure our invoice processing and approval system is maintained;
Ensure routine proposed payments of suppliers are met
Processing of employee expenses and credit cards

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

Relevant all round experience in accounts

Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong IT skills and be proficient using Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 including MS Teams.
