Job Description

Do you have significant experience in conducting financial appraisals on large scale property/infrastructure projects Are you an experienced accountant excited be involved major development projects with total spend over £1billion Would you like to workfor an organisation offering significant progression opportunities and impressive benefits If yes, read on!Robertson Bell are pleased to be partnering with a growing national House Builder who are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Working in a drive and high performing team, this role will play a crucialrole in appraisal of upcoming and existing large scale projects.The main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner include:

  • Work closely with the Development and Land Directors to gather up to date information in order to maintain the integrity of the complex appraisal models, identifying changes in assumptions and further consequences.
  • Responsible for the day to day financial modelling in the bespoke Excel model, looking at inputs, what if scenarios, and communicating he subsequent potential outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership of the ongoing financial analysis and reporting for joint ventures on regeneration projects.
  • Conduct investment appraisals for pipeline land acquisitions.

  • Ideally a fully qualified accountant.
  • Confident and experience in using multi-layered spreadsheets, using macros.
  • Experienced in investment appraisals within either construction/property, strong understanding of discounted cash flows, IRR and NPV
