Job Description

Youll be based from our Head Office Sovereign House Basingstoke, combining both home and office working to ensure a positive work/life balance. There might be occasional travel to other offices and events which will require someflexibility.The RoleWorking within the wider Corporate Strategy and People function, the Reward Officer will support the Reward team in the coordination and administration of total reward activity which supports the delivery of the Corporate Plan and People Strategy.The role will provide an accurate and professional first line Reward support service across the business by providing advice and guidance to managers and employees and maintaining Reward systems and processes within timescales required ensuring data integrityand accuracy.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the employee recognition schemes
  • Provide support, advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a range of total reward related issues and queries
  • Accountable for administering the flexible benefits system and associated employee benefit membership
  • Coordinate, maintain, create, and improve reward and recognition communication materials and lead on promotional event
  • Support the team to model and administer the annual pay review, pay progression, bonus, grading and allowances processes
  • Coordinate and maintain all job descriptions
  • Support the delivery of reward projects, owning tasks and providing administrative support to the Reward team as required
What we need from youIdeally you will have some previous experience in a similar role working within a Reward/HR team environment this is not essential but would be advantageous, we would also consider experienced higher-level administrators.Youll also need:
  • Strong administration experience working within a busy department
  • Relevant experience working with data and Excel spreadsheets
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about delivering a high-quality service and will go that extra mile
  • To work well on your own and within a team
  • Youll also be someone with enthusiasm and drive to deliver on challenging deadlines and targets
