Mechanical Engineer - £40K - £50K - Basingstoke - Electro-Mechanical Components (Automotive) I’m currently recruiting for a leading technology company that specialises in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical devices and systems for a number of industries. They are looking for a hands-on, skilled, and technical Mechanical Engineer withan Automotive/EV background to join an expanding design team. Due to the expansion of the business you will have the opportunity to work on exciting new projects at early-stage development as well as developing the current product line.Main Duties Include:+ DFM+ 2D/3D CAD design+ Liaising with clients and customers for new and existing products+ Prototyping and testing+ Maintaining product quality in line with company and international standardsSkills and Experience Required:+ Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Degree preferred)+ Minimum of 3-5 years experience design electro-mechanical devices/components+ Experience with high precision electro-mechanical manufacturing (preferred)+ 3D CAD Experience - Solidworks preferred+ Strong knowledge of concept and process development through the use of Design of Experiment’, FMEAs and standard automotive quality practicesSalary will be between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
