Job Description

Are you a Management Accountant seeking a varied role within the largest and fastest growing organisation of its type in its region Do you want to join a collaborative team that has a holistic approach to work Does business partnering with a range of seniorstakeholders such as regional managers excite youRobertson Bell is working with a large and multi-faceted organisation based in Hampshire to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC, with key responsibilities as follows:

  • Leading on the budget setting for the designated business area.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across the business from junior staff members to regional managers.
  • Completing variance analysis and writing detailed commentaries.
  • Performing accruals, prepayments, and journals.
  • Supporting on a wide range of projects as this business embarks on its transformation phase.
This is a great opportunity to join an organisation that is modernising quickly, incorporating a contemporary approach to building relationships with non-finance heads. The right person for the role should be:
  • Ideally a part qualified accountant.
  • Able to provide demonstratable experience business partnering with stakeholders.
  • Familiar with accruals and prepayments.
  • Confident in producing management accounts without support.
  • Have an inquisitive mind, and the ability to challenge the status quo of the organisation.
