Sovereigns CIO function will enable us to leverage the investments we have already made and embrace new technology frontiersto create a modern, digitally connected business; one that delivers maximum impact and value for our customers and people.We have a fantastic opportunity for an Integration Engineer to join our Product Engineering team on a permanent basis.Youll be based in our head office in Basingstoke, combining both office and home working to ensure a positive work / lifebalance.The role Reporting into our Integration Product Manager, youll be responsible for designing, building, managing and maintaining Integration services; covering existing SSIS ETL integration processes and delivering new cloud native integration services, in the contextof a microservice, containerised architecture. Responsibilities include:

• Building, testing and deploying near time and real time cloud native Integration services
• Building, testing, deploying and tuning existing SQL SSIS ETL packages
• Leading on identifying suitability of ETL or ELT designs, selecting the most appropriate approach to achieve the required outcome
• Leading on evaluating business requirements, and identifying the most suitable Integration design and tooling
• Scaling Integration services in-order to deliver Sovereigns Customer self-service objectives
• Collaborating with Data and Analytics colleagues to maximise Sovereigns investment in the Microsoft product stack, in particular Azure Data Lake and Synapse
• Maintaining Integration code repositories, CI/CD pipelines and Test Plan within MS Azure DevOps
• Leading on Integration troubleshooting, using the required tooling and debugging processes to diagnose and resolve issues

What youll needYou should have previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of product development processes and requirements. Youll have proven experience of designing, building, testing and maintaining Integration services. Youll also need:

• Extensive experience of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL and SSIS)
• Experience of Cloud-based Integration services, preferably within Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault)
• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets, covering structured, unstructured, semi structured data
• Proven experience of scaling Agile and establishing DevOps methodologies
• ITIL V4 or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Clear communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable

• Experience of working within the housing sector
• Experience of Microsoft BizTalk Server administration and development
• Experience working with Dynamics CRM, Power Platform and related technologies
• Knowledge of micro services architecture, API Management & integration processes
