Buying AssistantAndoverPermanentFull-timeMonday to FridayREED Basingstoke are actively recruiting on behalf of an established organisation for a permanent Buying Assistant.The Buying Assistant is the key support to Buyers with the procurement and management of stock and pricing.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a background working in a buying / purchasing role.As a Buying Assistantyour duties will include but are not limited to:- To be responsible for allocated supplier accounts.- Place orders as necessary to maintain agreed stock levels.- Follow up all open purchase orders.- To liaise with Buyers to ensure that sufficient stock is on order to meet stock coverage requirements.- To support the Buyers with stock forecasting and planning.- To be responsible for ensuring all open purchase orders have the correct invoice price.- To produce daily the Central Stock Movement Report.- To work with the Buyers and suppliers to ensure that all pricing is maintained correctly.- Communicate any product changes.- To work with the Purchasing Team to ensure that the Central Stock and Price lists are accurately produced.- Raise and code SCM claims on suppliers.- Responsible for all aspects of PPS management.To be considered for this position you must Apply Online or contact James Coyle in the Reed Basingstoke office.
