Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Process Analyst looking for a new and exciting roleAs a leading Housing Association, Sovereign is committed to providing quality, affordable homes and services within sustainable, successful communities. Were led by our values and driven by a strong social purpose, placing our residents at the heart ofeverything we do.Weve got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Process Analyst to join us on a fixed term basis for 12 months, working at the forefront of significant strategic and transformational business and process change. Youll be based in our modern head office in Basingstoke with flexibility for a blend of remote working.The Business Process team has been established to drive a culture of customer centric process ownership, collaboration, and process improvement that supports enhanced service delivery, growth, efficiency, and other key strategic initiatives across the business.Youll support the delivery of this strategic objective, by working with the business to drive business process optimisation and supporting transformation projects to deliver process outcomes that drive business transformation.What youll be doingWhile your focus areas will be within corporate governance and finance you will also work collaboratively across a broad range of operating environments (contact centre, property, housing, development and change delivery). You will deal with the tacticalday-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modelling, simulating, and analysing current and future states.Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and modelling existing processes to discover efficiencies and improvements for customer experience
  • Working with project teams to define the process element of project deliverables, creating, and delivering the process element of the overall project plan
  • Developing new processes to enable the business to meet the needs of our customers and designing flows in theprocessrepository
  • Supporting alignment of our Risk Framework
  • Facilitation of as-is and to-be workshops
What we need from youYou should have demonstrable experience workingas a Business Process Analyst. Youll be someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity, taking a methodical and logical approach to work in order to deliver objectives. Were also looking for:
  • Proven knowledge and experience of process modelling, analysis and tools
  • Experience of mapping process within BPMN 2.0 (either within Visio or BPMN Tooling)
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to spot trends and patterns in unrelated areas
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects, having a clear view of the sequencing of work
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to form effective relationships with multiple stakeholders at various levels
  • Ability to work in a matrix environmentas part of a project team delivering project outcomes, whilst working within guidelines set by the central process team
Any experience of working within corporate governance and financial processes would be advantageous.What youll receive from us
