Anti-social Behaviour Officer/ Neighbourhood Officer Location: Portsmouth or Basingstoke - You will mostly work from home however you will be expected to go to the offices at least20%Hours of work: Monday to Friday 37.5 hoursSalary: Approx £34000Duration of assignment, this is initially a temporary assignment for three months.Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established organisation who due to huge growth are now expanding.As a result, our client is looking to recruit an Anti- Social Behaviour Officer / Neighbourhood Officer to join the team on a temporarybasisAs an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer / Neighbourhood Officer you will be responsible for the following: To deliver a comprehensive cross tenure tenancy enforcement service, thoroughly investigating potential tenancy fraud casesapplying for injunctions for no access gas cases, providing a customer focused and responsive service in relation to cases of anti-social.behaviour and harassment in accordance with the company policies and procedures whilst ensuring quality and value for money.services.Key Tasks include:Tenancy Enforcement * Proactively investigate all cases of potential tenancy fraud.* Investigate all serious cases of anti-social behaviour and harassment fully.* Take witness statements.* Provide effective witness support.* To serve notices, prepare legal paperwork initiate court action, attend court and evictions as necessary.* To present DIY possession or injunctive cases in court where appropriate.* Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all current legislation and good practice.* Represent VIVID at meetings with outside organisations in connection with Anti-Social Behaviour and tenancy fraud.* Attend case conferences including MAPPA and MARAC meetings.* Record and report any issues or cases where safeguarding concerns are identified.* Contribute to the development and amendment of relevant policies, procedures and IT support systems.Working with Partners * Create strong relationships with partners and agencies which will help our customers to sustain their tenancies.* Work closely with local authority partners especially housing options and homelessness teams to ensure our customers needs are met.* Work closely with local authority partners especially housing options and homelessness teams to ensure our customers needs are met.Working with Customers * Maintain proactive and scheduled contact with customers. In most cases, this will be weekly contact.* Strong working relationships are developed and maintained.* Customers are provided with the right level of support.* Maximise customer satisfaction and minimise complaints by keeping promises and providing a right first time service.* Work proactively with colleagues and customers to ensure that we meet our Customer Standards.* Work proactively with customers on resident consultation and community development initiativesAs an Anti-Social Behaviour officer / Neighbourhood Officer you will have / Be * Previous experience as an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer or Neighbourhood Officer* Awareness & understanding of the Social Housing sector.* Good knowledge of Housing Legislation and current best practice* Good knowledge of best practice regarding ASB and tenancy fraud* Good standard of English and Maths.* Appropriate professional qualification (CIH, NVQ)* Good understanding of IT packages (e.g., word, excel, outlook & internal systems* Excellent time management and organisational skills* Must be organised and be able to prioritise own workload under time pressures.* Good investigatory skills* Able to form effective working relations with a range of stakeholders both internal and external.* Excellent communication skills using all forms of communication.* Sound numeracy and literacy skills and application.* Able to work flexibly - which may include working out of normal hours and on occasional weekends.* Full driving licence and car available for work* Housing Management/ASB/investigatory experience* Experience of working in a customer centred environment* Experience of working with a range of different agencies and building relationships with themTo be considered please submit your CV asapINDDYN
