Job Description

Based in Mid Essex this client is looking for a experienced Management Accountant to join an established team reporting into a fantastic Financial Controller.Due to growth- both organic and acquisition- the core finance team within this business will continue to grow and evolve over the coming months so this is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for long term career growth.Whilst this job title is Financial Analyst essentially the client is looking for broad management accounting experience and the capability to work within a fast paced change environment.Your new role will include:

Producing insightful analysis, comparing results to forecast and budget
Preparing commentary to stakeholders
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
Produce regular and timely mid-month reports to track performance
Produce detailed review and analysis of the expense base comparing results to forecast and budget
Support the Finance Manager with the onboarding of additional divisions
Performing month end reconciliations and providing analysis
Preparation of Board and Business Review Packs
Support the production of annual budget
Supporting the preparation of the monthly forecast
Assist in the production of annual statutory accounts and audit
Contribution to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the team

As the team continues to expand there will be further opportunities within this business.If you have management accounting experience this role can pay up to £42,000, for candidates with some experience of team leadership/management there can be more flexibility, up to £45,000 and possibly beyond.You will be expected to be in the office twice a week so 3 days a week working from home. They currently work 9-5 with 25 days holiday and Pension.Ideally this role is looking for candidates who are either qualified or on the path to qualification and there is an outstanding study package to support this.Required skills
