Credit ControllerAutomotive IndustryLocation: BasildonHourly Rate: £12 per hourHours: Mon - Thurs (7.30 - 16.30) Friday (7.30 - 14.00)My client is currently looking for a Credit Controller, you play a vital role in maintaining administrative and accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Your contribution ensures the smooth operation of office services and supports our commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities:" Create, revise, and maintain filing systems." Assist in maintaining the company contact database." Raise and post sales invoices to the ledger." Match delivery notes to sales invoices and submit them to customers for payment." Maintain the Credit Control spreadsheet with current information." Carry out Credit control duties, including issuing statements, chasing debts, and ensuring all customers accounts are settled to agreed terms." Liaise with the Projects teams to maintain ongoing relationships with customers." Handle customer queries in a timely manner." Raise and/or confirm sales orders on the system." Assist with Accounts payable tasks, including reconciling statements, dealing with queries, and matching delivery notes to invoices as required." Assist the Management Accountant and Finance Controller as required." Answer phones as required." Uphold all policies related to health, safety, and welfare.Skills/Qualifications:" Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and reliability." Proactive and innovative." Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a positive can-do attitude." Prioritization skills to manage workload efficiently." Ability to work accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment."
