Commercial AccountantLocation: Basildon, EssexSalary: £55,000+ (Experience Dependent)Industry: AutomotiveWere in search of a dynamic Commercial Accountant to join our team in Basildon. If you bring financial expertise, a background in the automotive industry, and proficiency in managing cross-departmental relationships, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:" Daily collaboration with the MP&L team to discuss the live Sales forecast for the upcoming week, providing insightful reports to the Finance Director/Commercial Director, considering supply chain dynamics." Maintenance of key accounts with production suppliers, ensuring robust financial oversight." Close partnership with the Manufacturing Manager and General Manager to pinpoint potential supply chain issues and communicate findings to the Finance Director and Commercial Director." Agile involvement across diverse departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration." Daily discussions with MP&L for a purchasing forecast for the upcoming month(s), relaying insights to the Finance Director/Commercial Director." Coordination with suppliers to facilitate progress on critical deliveries." Preparation of an MP&L Cashflow forecast based on provided data, reporting to the Finance Director/Commercial Director." Timely communication of delivery timings to the Finance Director/Commercial Director, coupled with overseeing document flow, including the return of delivery notes to the Finance Dept." Pursuit of outstanding delivery notes across the Operational team." Matching delivery notes to invoices and preparing for ID Upload on the system." Assisting the Finance Director with various ad hoc requirements." Provide support to the Finance Director by implementing and monitoring the Accounting Systems, Procedures, Policies and Projects.Skills/Qualifications:" Capability to comprehend and act upon oral and written instructions." Possession of a valid full driving license, with occasional supplier visits." Proficient in crafting intricate formulas in Excel."
