This tech team are led by tech people; Developers who have been there and done it meaning they know what is possible and understand realistic timescales for pieces of work. They work to agile methodologies and the devs get solid documentation, pulled together by dedicated BAs and prioritised by technical PMs.Wren is now looking to strengthen their in-house development teams by recruiting a number of Software Developers to reinforce the good work that has shaped these teams over the last couple of years and to provide the tech backup for the 1200 jobs that Wren is creating in their upcoming £120million expansion. This recruitment drive will see Wren appoint 1 mid-senior level Unity C# Developer.Wren offer the chance for Software Developers to join a team specialising in solving complex business problems, building enterprise level software systems to support the wider business in all sorts of areas covering Customer Services, Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, 3D Planning tool and the public facing websites. This particular role sits within the 3D Planner team.The Unity C# Developer who joins Wren in the coming weeks will predominantly work on their industry leading 3D CAD tool. This will play a key part in the success of their kitchen sales moving forward, so it is crucial that it is continually enhanced using cutting edge tech to keep ahead of the competition.The 3D CAD tool allows consumers to visualise how kitchen components will fit into their own personal kitchen space and uses complex logic to prevent designers from making plans that wont physically work and can be manufactured in line with standard process. Consumers are able to choose everything from colour schemes and units to sinks and toasters, and can walk around a Virtual Reality version of their kitchen at all stages of the design process.Primary responsibilities for the Unity C# Developer working on the tool include:

Incorporating new models and textures into the application

Using 3D modelling software and photo-realistic rendering to allow a 360-degree panoramic view of a customers kitchen space to be created

Ensuring integration points between 2D and 3D platforms

Candidates who have a background in 3D gaming have previously excelled in this role, although any strong Unity3D / C# background is relevant.
