Have a better work/life balance and come and work for Outcomes First Group!Job Title:Senior Speech and Language TherapistLocation:Options BartonSalary: up to£50,000 per annum, dependent on experienceHours:37.5 per weekContract: Permanent, Full Time, 52 weeks per annumPlease note we can be flexible with hours and weeks worked - please still contact us to discuss the role even if you may not be able to commit to a full time position.We understand the value of helping our employees to achieve their Continued Professional Development goals, and offer a £2000 training allowance to allow you to complete role specific training tailored to your individual requirements.About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house Clinical Team, at theOptions Barton site, near Barton Upon Humber.Working collaboratively with the sites, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for ourpupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs.You will be responsible for holding the speech and language therapy caseload at the Barton School. With the full support of our well-established and knowledgeable Clinical network and growing Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training, consultation.Botha challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload. This is an exciting and innovative time for the BartonClinical Team so please get in touch to find out more.Working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures, you will be supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of therole will be to deliver the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategyat a universal and enhanced specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our pupils’ needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).Options Autism has recently launched an innovative new Autism Strategy. • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
• Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
• Registered member of RCSLT
• Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting
• Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
• Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
• Ability to work independently
• Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour)
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
