Job Description

Looking to take the next step in your career Our client is seeking a talented Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join their team and contribute to their continued growth.With a site thats receiving significant investment, youll be working in a world class facility on cutting edge equipment. As a result, you will also have access to various plant and machinery and receive superb training and development opportunities.The role of Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment in a none-food facility. Plus, with regular investment in both equipment and the facility itself, youll be at the forefront of innovation.The company operate a double day shift pattern covering Monday to Friday.The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:* Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time* Maintain plant, services, building and equipment on a reactive and PPM basis* Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly* Carry out Electrical fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities* Promote risk assessments to ensure safe systems of working* Promote training for Technicians and Apprentices* Support and conduct regular inspections and testing* Whilst days based, must be able to work extra hours as required including weekendsThe Candidate:* A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both electrical/manual and automated production equipment* Good experience of managing safety in your daily activities* Strong team working capabilities* Engineering experience gained within a high speed continuous process industrial environment* Knowledge and experience of operating a PPM regime* Time served engineering apprenticeship or other recognised and equivalent qualifications* Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure vessels and dust extraction systems would be beneficialThis role is suited to candidates looking to join a company that offer long term opportunities to challenge yourself, develop and grow.A rare opportunity for the local area.Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
