Options Autism are hiring a Maintenance Person in the Lincolnshire region!Role: Maintenance PersonSalary: Up to £22,381.60per annum (including on-call payments)Hours: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm plus on-call duties as part of a rota)Location: Barton-upon-Humber, LincolnshireHow we reward you

Our occupants exhibit a wide range of abilities, from non-verbal to high-functioning. Patience and a passion for this kind of engagement is essential.We are based in Barton-upon-Humber and are within commutable distance of Winterton, Scunthorpe and surrounding towns and villages.Who we are looking forThe role will involve the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment to the highest standards set by Options Autism and by external regulators. The successful applicant would:
  • Have previous maintenance experience
  • Support in responding to day to day needs and planned maintenance, refurbishment tasks and repairs for the home
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs including decorating
  • Ensure that buildings and equipment have a neat and tidy appearance at all times and are clear of any possible hazards
  • Have an awareness and empathy for those entrusted within our care, carrying out duties being mindful of their needs and personal space
  • need to be adaptable and flexible, taking out of hours on-call responsibilities for both adult and children services (this is as part of an agreed on-call rota)
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
