Job Description

HR Advisor – Brigg – £31,000 + Bonus and Excellent BenefitsChase & Holland are excited to be recruiting a HR Advisor for our client an established and rapidly growing retail business. You will take full ownership of all HR related matters within your business area and provide professional, pragmatic, and commercially focused HR advice and guidance. They are within easy access of the M180 and the Humber Bridge and will offer the right individual a great opportunity to join a passionate team and grow within the business.HR Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide robust written and verbal HR advice to stakeholders, prepare case related documentation and ensure the correct and consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the business area, whilst adhering to procedural timescale
  • Work closely with line-managers and department heads within the business area, to ensure a consistent approach to people management and compliance with Company policies and rules
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across all organisational levels, including senior management, build credibility as a ‘specialist’ Advisor and attend key business updates / management meetings, as appropriate
  • Support the HR Manager / HR Business Partner in reviewing and implementing new HR Policies & Procedures, in line with changes to relevant employment legislation, coach and support line-managers to ensure these are embedded across the business
  • Manage a varied caseload of Employment Relations
  • To work flexibly in line with the needs of the business and carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
  • Hours:Full-time, Monday to FridayRequired Skills & Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at an Advisory level, preferably in an ER focused role
  • Currently holds or is working towards a level-5 CIPD qualification
  • Previous HR experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong IT and report collation skills
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work on own initiative
  • A pragmatic decision-maker
