Job Description

Finance Manager – Barton upon Humber – up to £57,000 + Bonus Chase & Holland are proud to be exclusively partnering this highly entrepreneurial, successful, privately owned business to recruit a Finance Manager to head up their accounting function. Over the last few years, they have seen massive growth and have a managementteam focused to drive revenue and profit. The Finance Manager plays a key role in the finance team and wider business. As Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering timely and accurate financial data to the business
  • Interrogating large amounts of data to gain insights into business process and performance
  • Overseeing the preparation of the weekly and monthly accounts, including detailed review and commentary
  • Preparing the rolling store P&L
  • Balance sheet reconciliation reviews
  • Producing weekly KPI packs
  • Providing analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts to ensure reasonableness, consistency and accuracy
  • Mentoring and management of a small team
  • Continuous improvement mentality to increase efficiency and drive the bottom line
The ideal candidate:
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Strong IT literacy including excel and ERP Systems
  • Flexible and can do approach to your work, as well as strong business partnering skills and commercial acumen
  • Drive to make continuous improvements
