Job Description

Microsite Manager Location: Humberside, DN19 7EUAnnual Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 Shifts: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.Manpower is hiring a permanent Microsite Manager for our fantastic client, offering brand new facilities, kit, and a chance to be a part of a growing company making a difference! Our client believes that yesterdays cooking oils should become tomorrows energy and that business waste can be recycled into green energy to power festivals or simply help to support our National Grid.Through pioneering technology, they are able to recover a waste product that previously went down the drain and turn it into a source of income for your business, while keeping your kitchen and waterways clean and efficient.Role Summary: As the Microsite Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day management and operations at the site, ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse & logistical activities, leading a team of warehouse, and driving staff to deliver excellent customerservice to all client and managing fresh and used cooking oil stock, its storage and its onward movement to our biofuel processing sites.You will be accountable for ensuring all safety, compliance, and quality standards are met, and for maintaining a high level of staff performance and productivity.Initially, due to the nature of the sites being new to the area and not at full capacity, the Microsite Manager will take an active role in assisting the generation of new business. Duties Include:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the micro site, including inbound and outbound, inventory management, staff management and sales generation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as with all company policies and procedures.
  • Optimise site operations and maximise efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Supervise and mentor staff (Administration, Warehouse and Drivers), including training, performance management, and motivation.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the site, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Prepare and submit reports to senior management on site operations, performance, and KPIs.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective action.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required:
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management, with specific experience of being site lead managing a team of Drivers.
  • Managing a small logistics operation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service and meeting KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
Desirable:
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (desirable)
  • Counterbalance / Reach FLT License (desirable)
