Acorn by Synergie is excited to be recruiting a Quality Control Team Lead for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer at their North Devon site.Main Scope of the role:As a QC Lab Team Leader, you will support and mentor a small group of Analysts and work as part of a team to co-ordinate all Bulk/Packed Stock testing activities of the Quality Control Laboratory.Key Responsibilities:- Day to day running of the laboratory. - Planning the workload for all direct reports, identifying resources and decision making. - Support and lead non-conformance investigations. - Leading continuous improvement. - Development and coaching an increasing team of 8-10 direct reports. - Conflict resolution and culture cultivation - Consistently meeting targets and KPIs - Internal and external audits - Compilation and reporting of statistics and analytical metrics.Essential Skills and experience:- A level (or equivalent) in Chemistry. - Ideally a BSc or equivalent in a science discipline or similar STEM discipline. - Strong leadership skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent computer skills including Excel, creating formulas and Analytical knowledge.
