Your role:Acorn Recruitment have an opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor. The role comprises of providing occupational health services to a wide range of industry sectors and local authorities, including workplace assessments and return to work support,statutory medical examinations, health screening and psychotherapy. This role is based on-site, with the following primary areas of responsibility:* Supporting all employees by promoting wellbeing @ work* Ensuring proactive case management* Interacting with internal departments (HR/EHS)* Designing/promoting wellbeing @ work programme* Confidence in supporting individuals with mental health concerns* Supporting team members with routine health surveillance programmeWhile this is initially a temporary placement, there is a possibility of leading to a permanent position when full specialist training will be given including attending external accredited courses and with a view to developing the role further. Qualifications:* RGN preferable but not essential whilst the role is temporary Experience required:* Previous Primary care or occupational health experience* Full UK Driving license and own transport* Highly confidential nature* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to relate to individuals at all levels and display empathy* Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills including word and excelAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
