Teaching Assistant
South Yorkshire
Full-time/Part-time

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Primary, Secondary & SEND Schools in the South Yorkshire area on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidates for these schools are for people who are looking to get in to teaching or if you are aqualified teacher who is coming towards the end of their teaching career who are looking for a less demanding role.Teaching Assistant duties will include:

Supporting the teacher and pupils in class
First aid duties as and when required following any current Care Plans
Taking small groups out of class for interventions and 1 to 1 support as and when required under the direction of class teacher
Attending any training statutory to your role, including but not limited to Safeguarding, First Aid, Fire Safety, Prevent and GDPR.

Successful applicants will have:

Recent experience working in an education setting
Relevant subject specialism including English, Maths, Science, Technology, Performing Arts, Humanities, Physical Education
Passion, empathy, and confidence
Superb behaviour management skills
Excellent communication skills to work effectively alongside teaching staff
An up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undertake a new one)
Proof of Safeguarding Children at a minimum of Level 1 (or be willing to undergo online training)
Right to work in the UK
