You will be working on a full time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary of£31,099 - £41,496per annum.The Social Workerrole:Within the Specialist Care Team, we work with individuals living within a variety of settings to maximise their independence and life opportunities. This role will require management of a complex case load giving the successful applicant the opportunityto develop their knowledge and skill base in multiple areas. You will develop creative and imaginative solutions to help people achievepositive outcomes which enable people to maintain their independence and live a happier healthier life. Along the way, youll make your own progress through training programmesSkills and experience were looking for in our Social Worker:To join us, youll need to have a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Youll bring some relevant experience of people with Learning disabilities and have achieved additional qualifications such as Best InterestAssessor to the role. You will be expected to produce high quality assessments, collaborating with various agencies, and interpreting case law and legislation. Knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, local and national policy issues, equal opportunityand anti-oppressive practice are vital.
