Operations Manager Barnsley, South Yorkshire Up to £45,000 As an Operations Manager you will assume overall responsibility for stock management, distribution of goods, site health, safety, environment, and quality. You will collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager and the Operations Director to establish,manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, KPIs, training, and systems, ensuring compliance with business requirements. Champion company values, driving initiatives for continuous improvement and supporting the development and growth of thebusiness operation. Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, the role is an integral member of the Operational leadership team. Youll have full autonomy and responsibility to review the operation, develop and implement modern warehousing practices across the facility andits working practices. Its key for the Operations Manager to have proven leadership qualities that will mentor, coach and develop individuals that directly report into the post while empowering the rest of the teams to drive projects that improve operational and behavioural performance,while having key focus on H&S, Training, SOPs development and Disciplinary protocols. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a warehousing senior management role, be business and commercially minded and have a strong understanding of people development, business objectives and performance measures within a fast paced, high-volumeenvironment.
