Job Title:Mortgage BrokerLocation:BarnsleyBryn McMillan Consulting Vacancy Ref:J1173MBMCRemuneration:£22,500 - £28,000 basic, plus car/car allowance, OTE £50k year 1, £75k year 2Overview:A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage broker to offer mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in the Barnsley office dealing with mortgages up to £450k, with an average property value of £150kMain Duties:An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker/adviser to join part of a group that includes the largest and most successful independent estate agency group in Europe working from a busy office inOur client is offering the successful applicant to have flexibility in terms of work life balance, you can benefit from flexible working hours if the 2-3 mortgages have been written.The Barnsley office alone has a database of existing clients of over 5000, deals with properties up to £450k with an average property value in the area is £150k with over 700 properties sold per month in the area.The busy branches require a proactive individual to work alongside the team of introducers to contact existing clients to review their existing mortgage and protection policies as well as receiving fresh leads on a day to day basis.Covering the busy branch, you will alongside a sale focused team of negotiators and provides regulated advice on both mortgages and the associated protection products. As well as receiving fresh leads from the team on a regular basis, you will also have access to the companys database of existing clients.
