Elevation Recruitment are working with a Mechanical Handling business to help them recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their site in South Yorkshire. My client offer complete turnkey solutions, specialising in heavy machinery and kinetic structures.As the Senior Design Engineer, you will be influential in taking ownership and responsibility to produce conceptual designs, supported by relevant calculations and analysis. You will own and manage a range of design projects which will require productionof detailed manufacturing drawings.As the go to design specialist, you will work on complex engineering projects from concept stage through to the delivery, including installation and commissioning. These projects will be across several engineering sectors so the ability to manage multipleprojects, to tight deadlines will be paramount. You will also have strong communication skills with the ability to correspond at all levels internally and externally.The Senior Mechanical Design Engineers duties will include:
