Learning Support Assistant / Behaviour Support WorkeLeader Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEMH School in Barnsley who are recruiting for a number of Learning Support Assistants to start immediately!We are recruiting for experienced Learning Support Assistants / Behaviour Support Workers to work in a specialist SEMH school, providing educational support to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.You will have previous experience of working with students with SEMH - social, emotional and mental health issues (previously known as BESD, SEBD & EBD).You will have excellent behaviour management skills as well as patience, empathy and understanding.THE JOB:you will be required to provide either one to one support or small group support to learners with SEMH - Social Emotional and Mental Health issuesto comply with individual learning plansto take direction from the class teacherYOU:You must be an experienced classroom support assistant with a good level of experience of working with students with SEMHbe patient and resilientbe creativemake learning funexcellent communication skillshave a therapeutic and holistic approachTeam Teach trained would be advantageous, although training can be provided.Location: BarnsleyStart Date: ASAPDaily Rate: £75 - £85 Dependant upon experience
