Barnsley Council are seeking an experienced Head of Economic Development to join the Regeneration and Culture team. We are looking for a strategic leader with the ability to build partnerships with organisations and businesses across the private, public, voluntary and community sectors. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week)and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £75,463 - £82,990 per annum.The Head of Economic Development role:Barnsley is looking for a strategic leader with extensive experience of inclusive economic development, regeneration and capital programmes, town centre development and place management, with an innovative approach to working with the private sector, fundraisingand income generation to head up our Economic Development team.Theres enormous growth potential in our borough.
