Job Description

Construction in the Built Environment Trainer - Barnsley - centre based - £28,000-£35,000 depending upon experience / 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays / Pension scheme.The Role: Construction in the Built Environment Trainer

  • You will be delivering Construction in the Built Environment Level 3
  • You will be drawing on your broad-based construction experience to offer learners knowledge on construction materials, sustainable construction and safety and welfare, among other subjects
  • The team is closely knit and they are looking for someone who shares the passion and enthusiasm for what they do
  • The training will be in a classroom at the training providers state of the art centre
  • A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.
    • Essential Requirements: Construction in the Built Environment Trainer
  • Be able to display occupational competence gained through working in construction
  • Previous experience of teaching - either in a school, or college, or apprentices / trainees in the workplace
  • Formal teaching qualification qualifications
  • A Level 3 qualification in Construction or Civil Engineering
    • Desirables: Construction in the Built Environment Trainer
  • You will hold a current DBS. If you do not have one you must be prepared to have a DBS check conducted
  • Experience of working with CAD would be hugely beneficial
