Based within a reasonable commute of Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Lincoln and Hull this business can offer a lot of career progression and growth, along with training and support to attain new skills.DescriptionIT Support Engineer - Brigg - 1st line - £19-25kThis role will involve 1st and some 2nd line support of all Group IT Infrastructure (networks, servers, hardware etc) and associated business systems.The company are in the process of choosing a new ERP system and improving their data management strategy, so there will be exposure to exciting, project based work as well.The company are a large manufacturing business and have many complex processes. You must be comfortable dealing with everyone across the business- from factory workers up to director level.ProfileThe successful candidate must have a solid grounding in IT Support, preferably including a formal IT qualification (degree in computing, ITIL etc) and demonstrable experience with the following:

Networks and servers

Printers, laptops and other hardware

Disaster recovery

Active Directory

Supporting various Windows applications e.g MS Office

SaaS

1st and 2nd line helpdesk experience

A knowledge of ERP systems and SQL server databases would be highly advantageous but is not essentialAbove all, you must be able to demonstrate an excellent phone manner, customer service ethos and a passion to learnJob OfferThis is a chance to join a business that is investing a lot of money into IT and has exciting plans.
