Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to become an IT Manager in the futureMy client is seeking an ambitious and motivated IT Support Engineer to join their esteemed, long-standing institution in Finchley. Day to day this will involve, BAU helpdesk support (1st and 2nd line), Network Support, In person Desktop support, and somelow-level infrastructure and server management.Theyre looking for someone who can come in and feel confident enough to support the organisation with IT Support in a stand-alone role. They have a contract with an IT Company which you will use as an escalation point so full support will be provided.Day to day duties

  • 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line technical Support (Both projects and helpdesk)
  • In person support for user (Reactive support)
  • Both networks and technical infrastructure support
  • To locate and fix network and connectivity problems.
  • To use Active Directory to keep track of all in-person support requests, including those for password resets, account changes, and deletions.
What technologies will you be exposed to
  • Office365 Support and Administration
  • Windows Servers Support and Administration
  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online
  • Experience supporting desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners
  • Networking - DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, WAN (Desirable)
