Job Description

This position plays an integral part to our vision of bringing fresh goods to more sites across the UK. Were aiming to open over 20 new premises a year and continue to innovate their methods at scale.Client DetailsWell known and rapidly expanding QSR business based in UK.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Own and deliver the Food P&L, understand weekly and monthly performance impacts
  • Own the annual Food Plan, understand P&L impacts and relative importance of each initiative to deliver growth
  • Identify, recommend, and adapt the plan as needed in year to deliver the P&L
  • Managing a team of 3, recruit, retain, and develop talent
  • Set clear direction and accountability, then coach as needed so the team can execute the plan
  • Gather Marketing & Ops input to inform Commercial and Product Briefs, to ensure range development maximises the Food opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing and Ops, sharing the Seasonal Product Plan to build a strong supporting Go To Market Sales Plan
  • Drive strong sales performance by ensuring the right range is available at the right time of day with the right freshness
  • Lead the recommendations on defining the right range, display, and freshness
  • Partner with Ops to operationalise these range recommendations
  • Support the Head of Quality & Food Operations to deliver the Kitchen Transformation initiative and quality standards management
ProfileThe successful candidate has a background in:
  • A passion for the food and drink industry, enjoy food, discovery, care where ingredients come from and value the craft needed to make great food
  • Either BSc in Food Science or Chef background with a strong knowledge of NPD
  • Strong understanding of how to drive growth at scale and can demonstrate executing a development strategy of a national brand
  • Experienced with P&L management and the levers to drive commercial growth, comfortable making high level financial assumptions
  • Enjoy accountability, thrive from translating your recommendation into tangible action for growth, influencing and problem solving to achieve the outcome
  • Strong influencer who can connect with multiple stakeholders including our founder, Directors and creative team
  • A positive disruptor, who is constantly looking to the future of baking methods Well connected with the current food scene and strong branded knowledge of fresh food, QSR and hospitality concepts
